Overview

Gilbard is a next-generation gaming portal and entertainment hub engineered to bring gamers the latest releases, cinematic trailers, community discussion boards, and rich game profiles with an immersive cyberpunk-inspired aesthetic.

The Problem

Traditional gaming portals can feel visually cluttered, slow to load heavy media assets, and difficult to navigate across mobile devices without sacrificing the rich visual atmosphere gamers expect.

The Solution

Engineered a high-performance Next.js web application utilizing Material UI theming, fluid Framer Motion transitions, responsive media carousels, and optimized asset loading to deliver an engaging, cinematic user experience.

Challenges

• Delivering smooth high-resolution image transitions and trailers without degrading page load speed
